Saw Munich with the wife last night, for some reason it is only playing in one theatre like 20 miles from my home. Well worth the trip, excellent movie.

Also, saw King Kong over the past weekend, started off slow, but again, worth it. Fights scenes kicked ass.

They've already cast a sequel to Batman, obviously the Joker is the villain.  I can't remember the guy's name, but he is playing the albino assassin in the soon to be released DaVinci Code - tall, lean and pale, should look good for the part.  We'll see how the writing/acting goes, the Joker's a tough character to get right.

In other news, it sounds like The Hulk sucked so bad, they won't bother to make a sequel, according to SHH.

I think you're talking about Paul Bettany

Hulk was the worst movie ever made. Ever.

Dude, are we gonna have that argument again?!

As for the Joker, I'd rather see Paul Bettany than Sean Penn, another guy "rumored" to be considered for the part.
Anyone but Reid.

i was hoping they would leave the Joker alone because it was well done in the original Michael Keaton Batman.  they should've re-done Riddler, Two-Face, and the Penquin before Joker.

Meet the Feebles is great MMH. dont even play that!!

MadMarchHare

If you thought the Joker was well done in the original, you've never read a Batman comic book.
I'll grant you, though, the others were worse. :boo

:-D  I enjoyed it too.  It's still one of the worst movies ever, though.

no, i've never read a Batman comic, i'm guessing that Nicholson's Joker wasn't true to the comic?

It is still in limited release (532 theatres) until this Friday when it expands to 1,400+ theatres

The Joker is like Michael Myers with Einstein's brainpower.  He should make everyone in the audience creeped out without saying a word.  He's not over the top, though he is melodramatic.  His goal is to kill basically everyone, in fantastic ways, and leave 'em with a smile.

that's why i would have loved to see Crispen Glover as the Joker.  Nicholson was ok, but not nearly as good as the character should be.

Haven't seen those, but they can't be worse than the Hulk. No way, no how.
