Walk the line was one of those rare, worth every cent you pay ($10.00) to watch it. Like reidme said, when some of those songs came out...you got tiny goosebumps(herpes)...and you couldn't help but get into it. Movies like this that present a famous person that people may have heard about but never have known, is perfect even for non-Cash fans. Great movie, great time. Now, I want to go get myself a gee-tar.
I said watch the game and you will see my spirit manifest.-ILLEAGLE 02/04/05

I finally watched Star Wars Episode III and was extremely disappointed.  I guess part of the problem is that you know exactly what's going to happen.  The other part of the problem was the downright stupid and surprisingly poorly done special effects.  The fight between Obi Wan and Anakin was so farging ghey, what with the surfing on the lake of lava and such.  Anyway, I suppose anyone who's seen the other 5 movies will see this one at some point in time, but don't make a point of hurrying to it.  Lame.

2.5/5 actual.  Should give a 1/5 to balance out all the good reviews it got.

the problem is that the 1st two were so bad that everyone loved this one in comparision to those, but overall it doesn't hold up to the 1st 3.

Blasphemy!  ;D

The lava surfing was stupid, the acting and dialogue were at times subpar, but overall I thought it was really well done and without a doubt the best of the prequels.

I rank 'em like this:
Empire
A New Hope
ROTJ/ROTS equal
AOTC
Phantom Menace

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

FrankenVader. Nothing more needs to be said about that movie.

I just got done watching The Call of Cthulhu from the HP Lovecraft Historical Society. 45 minute silent movie, but it was pretty good.

Isn't that a Metallica song?

Wingspan

i think HP Lovecraft has been around a little longer than metallica...by a few weeks anyway

He's been around almost as long as The Rolling Stones.

Amazing special effects is what this movie is all about.  Just incredible jaw dropping special effects.  Story is decent and the acting is meh.  Some unbelieveable things happen, buts its a movie and one made in hollywood.  Def. worth the rent.

Polar Express:  Cool animations, half drunk while watching it....seemed cool.  Can't give an honest review.  Pathetic.

Watched The Two Jakes last night. Sequel to Chinatown. It sucked ass. Completely forced dialogue, idiotic characters, unnecessary tie-ins to the original...

1.5/5

If you like to hear Dakota Fanning screaming endlessly.

I finally watched Sin City last night. I guess it's okay in a different kind of way, but really not my cup of tea. I still laugh at the term "graphic novel."

Agreed.  The special effect in WotW made SWEIII:ROTS look like circa early 90's.

Sin City is one of my favorite movies to come out in the past 5 years, I loved it.  But i can also see why other people wouldn't like it.
