Anyone seen a good movie lately?

I know a few people who saw it, and they were all disappointed. I'll watch it when it hits HBO, but that's about it. Shame, really, because that could have been a really good movie.

I heard weak story and good action, not much more was expected from me on this. I'm going to see it wed. for free so I'm not sweating it.

Got home early today and X-Men Last Stand was on.  My kid watched it for about 10 minutes, got up, laughed a little and said, "this movie's retarded".

I've never been more proud of her in my life.

Sin City and V were the only two comic book-based movies I didn't cringe at until the latest Batman movie came out.  The rest of them were almost 100% unbearable to watch.

Spiderman was bad enough for me to never see the second one.  And I think I was like 13 or so when the original Superman came out, so I'm sure I liked it at the time.  Not so much as an adult, though.  I think it's corny and the acting is atrocious.

Watchmen
V for Vendetta
Predator
1 Spiderman movie (some would say 2)
and on and on...

Road to Perdition and A History of Violence were comic book movies, too. Ditto for 300, which better than I expected. And while a guilty pleasure, Blade was pretty good.
