imagine watching that same 15 minutes for another hour and a half

Exactly.

Seabiscuit36

i watched 10th and Wolf...IGY was right, it sucked.  It had the chance to be a great movie, instead they shoot the movie in Pittsburgh over Philly, then go on some weird tangent with Joey(Merlino) going terminator to take out the Sicilian mob boss, and the grenades they used were mini nuclear weapons based on the explosions.  3/10  It should be negative points since Piper Perabo didnt get naked.

Up until this week, I had never watched any of the Rambo movies. I figured it was time to finally check them out.

First Blood
You could tell this was based on a novel, since the story was actually... uh, there. Sure, they butchered it, but when don't they do that? It had average guys pissing themselves when having to deal with a killing machine, which there just isn't enough of in movies. Very little cheese in this one.

Rambo: First Blood Part II
Started off pretty well. Good plot, but got derailed along the way. I think it was when they slapped a layer of vaseline on the lens for the ten second romance scene. Cheese and hilarity run rampant as Rambo sprays bullets with no control over his weapon at all. I think I started laughing at the crazy death montage.

Rambo III:
It was bad enough giving Rambo more than two lines, but they had to add those one-liners. Based on this, we should be at war with Burma in about twelve years.

John Rambo:
After watching the previous two, this was kinda awesome. Just enough plot to get to the slaughtering, no one-liners, a lot of really good carnage, and one slightly cheesy blast wave that can be forgiven.

The man. The myth. The legend.

Tropic Thunder is worth watching for Tom Cruise debasing himself alone.  That said, there are other parts of the movie too.

3/5.

Saw Eyes Wide Shut last night. Have seen it before, but still a great movie. In Tom Cruise's top 3 for sure and my 2nd favorite Kubrick film.

The only annoying thing is that Tom repeats every sentence spoken to him in the form of a question in the movie.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Eyes Wide Shut is by far the worst Kubrick movie I've seen. Cruise couldn't act his way out of a cardboard box.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Well considering it is a movie that is pretty highly regarded, I'd say you are the one in the minority. Not that it matters, but when you pull out the holier than thou attitude.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Got a 78% on rottentomatoes which compiles tons and tons of reviewers from all over. 78% is well above average.

I have never met one person who thought that was even a decent movie.  That movie was terrible.
