I am and was a huge Batman Begins fan and I don't think that TDK was 'way' better than BB, but I do think it was better and a pretty incredible movie.

I'm predicting that it will be less than 2 weeks before I see it again. Now that I know what happens I'd like to be able to focus on the details. Especially the Joker's speeches.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

i don't agree with the theory ledger's performance is getting more pub because he's dead, at least for me anyway.  there wasn't once that i was watching him thinking, "i can't believe i'm watching a dead guy"  i was watching him destroy this role and everytime he was off the screen, i wanted another scene with him on it so i could watch him some more.

i'm going to see it again too, but in Imax.

Ledger was great, don't get me wrong, but I think all the "performance of the century" stuff I'm seeing all over the internet is because of his death. He was excellent, but it wasn't the most amazing performance I've ever seen or anything.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

having seen no trailers or promos at all (remember, I don't watch teevee or go to the moovees,) I'm figuring Ledger's performance is something like Brad Pitt in 12 Monkees.  Stellar, but once you've seen it, you say...of course he could play that.

ice grillin you

i dont know if he would crack the top ten of my best performances list but hes not to far after that...and he might be the best movie villian ever not named hannibal lecter...i was one of the people before seeing the movie that thought his death was overhyping his performance (and the movie) but after seeing it no way...he deserves all the accolades he gets and it will take a whole lot for him to not win the oscar this year
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

not even close...brad pitt seemed like brad pitt overacting and just being an overtly weird version of himself...ledger WAS the joker

even if he didn't die, this would be the role and performance that would've defined his career i think, its that good.

Wow, this was on ebay. It was removed for one reason or another. Great piece, would have loved to have seen what price it would have went for.

just to be clear becasue i feel like i just hated on brad pitt i really liked his performance in 12 monks but it isnt in the same stratosphere as ledger in dk

as for the two batman movies they really are in the theater pictures so id highly reccomend seeing tdk now....if you never saw batman begins you would be missing nothing...tdk is a must see for ledger in or out of the theater

yea just saw it in the hood theatre

basically in the same boat was the rest of you pube eaters, great but not the goat, about the same as batman begins, ledger was beyond superb and borderline best movie villain ever.

not sure what theyre gonna do with the next one. i believe nolan is signed up for 1 more, bale for 2.

also god damn is maggie gyllenhal an ass
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
