everyone knows florida is a joke...atlanta on the other hand claims to be the nyc of the south

heres the difference between them and phoenix, two cities made of nothing but transplants

atl transplants are mostly northern
phx transplants are western and MA

northern transplants arent jumping on the new team just because they are all good. philly, boston, ny, dc, detroit, chicago people arent switching to the braves.

meanwhile so cal and boise people will latch on to the suns and dbacks no problem.

so even though atl is a top 10 market like 10% of the city actually is interested in rooting for the local teams.

These playoffs are kinda nuts so far.  Spurs about to get punched out.  Lakers struggling against CP3 and 4 other guys.  Knicks got swept.  The only series that are really going according to plan in the Sixers/Heat and the Mavs/Blazers. 

I think it's safe to say that the Spurs, as we've known them, are cooked.  This was probably the last year that they would be a top tier team in the league with Timmay, Parker and Manu but I figured they had one more deep playoff run in them.  But man, they got really old, really fast.  Time for them to blow it up and start over.

grizz would have smoked anyone last night. and even though they're they 8 seed, they've pretty much been on fire the entire second half of the season.
