im not sure in sports how you could ever expect close games....competitiveness is so random

the nba is reaching the point where there are a couple of great teams, a bunch of mediocre teams and a bunch of bad teams. they need to take a play from king roger goodell's playbook and get some parity going, because all this shtein is pointless until the conferene finals. all hail the nfl!

im far from an nba junkie but if you want close games just to have close games, you should become a cbb fanatic. all the teams stink, the results are random and the games therefore are going to be tight and "exciting."

the only time series are stretched out is the first week of the first round when you have too many guaranteed games to give space to. once you get past this weekend, for the most part, games are every other day.

the conference and nba finals may skip saturday to avoid a horrible ratings night, but other than that, the schedule is pretty normal. again, you can either look at the facts or look at some silly twitter narrative. your call, bo.
