The point is not whether or not O&A are hilarious or even worth listening to... the point is that it's become so wildly acceptable to create outrage at radio and censor free speech to this extent.

It doesn't matter if you like O&A or Imus or Howard or any of these hosts.  The continued removal of freedoms in this country *should* be alarming.

This country is a JOKE.  Sun your gonna hate me but O&A are nothing that they were previously.  I still listen but often its just not funny anymore.  Without Anthony and Jimmy the show is gone. 

i don't hate you for having an opinion...but your comment makes no sense to me.  the show is different than it was before they were fired, but i still laugh my ass off most mornings.

all i can do is cancel my XM and move on, which is what i'll do if they get fired.

they are still going to be on CBS, which will be weird.

I don't much like Opie & Anthony's act but suspending them is ridiculous especially on XM.  Christ - have you ever heard some of the stuff on the uncensored comedy channel?  It's much 'worse' than the stuff they got suspended for.

i didnt listen to it....but if what sun says is true and they were warned not to do it then it doesnt matter if they were talking about tulip fields...

if your boss tells you not to talk about something and you do it most likely youre gonna have to pay...if they dont like it they can find another network to carry their show with management that will allow them to talk about whatever they want
