ice grillin you

FSU played extremely well, and PSU was missing an extremely important all-around player in Tony Hunt

you really dont want to get into who was missing for each team last night

penn st had a great year and hats off to them...but florida state has more talent on their bench than penn st has starting...which is why they finish in the top five every other year and penn state is estatic with nine wins

its just not fair the amount of talent in the south and specifically florida
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

igy gettin it done like warrick

im the board pharmacist....always one step above yous

Sielski has issues with JoePa's comments on the Nicholson situation

I think Joe's comments were about as apropos as someone could hope for.  Sielski's a douche.

I understand the first comment, I felt that they could not stop talking about the lb from FSU, like he is the only one out of the game.

Well if FSU has far more talent on the bench, then PSU has starting, it just shows the determination in the players and the coaching of PSU, hats off to Joepa and his crew!

SunMo

after last night, it's clear to me that Bobby Bowden is a figurehead only and has no real function on that team.  he barely knew what was going on last night.  you never see him talking to coaches or players, he's only hanging on so Joe can't catch him in total wins.  Joe meanwhile, is still harassing officials, yelling at coaches and talking to players, IMO, he's still coaching to some exent.
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

It was so obvious when FSU was going to bring a LB, and 75% of the time they came in untouched. Not establishing an effective 1-2 punch with Scott and Robinson really hurt them.
Why doesn't Robinson ever keep on that delay play?

He'd fake the handoff all season then take it himself up the middle. That play was money all season. They should have established Robinson as a running threat early lastnight, that would have helped to keep FSU's LBs in check.

I couldn't agree more.  Holy hell, that was aggravating.  I had to turn the volume down because it was driving me nuts.  I didn't watch until the end of the game, but the last half hour or so that I did watch, the television was muted.

Man, i wanted to throw my tv out the window.  Every time that stupid whistle blew, i knew that chant was coming.  Near the end of the game, i started muting the tv when i heard their band leader blow the whistle.  Tirico sucks at announcing...wish we coulda had Keith Jackson...but i understand why not.
When you're riding in a time machine way far into the future, don't stick your elbow out the window, or it'll turn into a fossil.

Penn State #13 in Pat Forde's 2006 rankings.  Not too bad.

rjs246

Id' say that's a little high for this team, but not TOO high. He's spot on about Morelli.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

The Army All-American Bowl is on NBC right now.  Gives us a chance to see Odrick and Bell, plus possible commits in Evans, Wallace and Young...

I know a bunch of people are announcing at the game, do they televise that or do you just have to wait until its reported?

They show them throughout the game, usually during timeouts...

Another PSU-related note:  LeSean McCoy left Bishop McDevitt

Man Maurice Evans is a freakin beast.  I really hope PSU lands him.
