Losing their offensive line doesn't really scare me since it currently eats balls.

And I definitely think they can run the table this year. I don't know if they actually will, but they certainly could.

Thats about all I could find on it.  Maybe they don't have a designated bowl.  Just one of top four BCS bowls, meaning the Fiesta, Orange, or Sugar Bowl.

Other than the national one (Rose), the others are determined by geography.  The Sugar Bowl is usually SEC vs ACC, the Orange usually has the Big East, and the Fiesta usually has the Big XII.  I'm guessing they'd end up in Miami at the Orange Bowl...

i guess you think they are losing to MSU and Wisconsin?

i think they can beat Wisconsin at home, but at MSU is tough

purdue isnt a gimme
i dont think a 3-1 finish is out of the question
but i think at mich st is a loss and illinois is a win
a wisc/pur split  puts them at 9-3


as for the big ten champ their are no automatic tie ins to bcs bowls other than the national championship game...so they could play in any bsc bowl other than the rose

Wisconsin is overachieving like Michigan State.  PSU can beat them in Happy Valley....

this gets thrown out the window when your conferences natural tie bowl happens to host the national championship game...because this is the case with the big ten this year the champion could potentially play anywhere...i could see the big ten champ going to the fiesta bowl against an at large team this year...similar to pittsburgh utah last year...especially if the big ten winner is the weakest of the bcs teams as is the case right now

I think that they will win the next 3.  Depending on what happens between now and then with MSU, that game could really go either way.  But the bye week will help PSU a lot, and if MSU loses again between now and then, their spirit could really be shot.

Wow PSU could have some USC style offensive potential if Morelli pans out.

Morelli should have been playing since last year. Period.

I would have agreed with that before the Minnesota game, but he has been a big reason why they are a legitimate team again.  Every time he screws up he makes up for it.
