The Stallone remake of Get Carter was pretty good. At least I thought so.

Jesus Christ, do you Monkey Spanks have to remake EVERY British movie?  ;) Y'all even had that Grade A buttmunch Kevin Costner doing ROBIN FARGIN' HOOD in an American accent.

Most of us on this side of the pond detested Costner for that dreck, too...until "Waterworld" came along.

;) Yeah, I know. I liked the line in Robin Hood, Men in Tights where he says "at least I can do Robin Hood in an English accent. But jeez, I hate Costner, whenever he comes over here he always bangs on about what a big soccer and Arsenal fan he is. Yet how come CHRISTIAN FARGIN' SLATER could do an English accent in that movie and he couldn't, the bith. Still, doing remakes of Get Carter and The Italian Job is plain WRONG. Michael Caine ought to pop some caps in some Hollywood arse for that bullshtein. ;)

Can he wait until I'm finished piling up bodies like cordwood for "Ocean's Eleven."...and the upcoming "Ocean's Twelve?" :evil ;)
Crier of the week: Terrorists of all backgrounds. Tantrums are selfish acts by children; extortion and murder disguised as fervor for a cause are both selfish and just plain evil. "We're gonna blow up things and kill people until we get our way!" There's a convincing argument, huh?

COBRA.

Great movie especially the aviators, leather jacket, and toothpick.

Over the Top was an awesome movies too.  I remember when I was a kid I thought it was so great because my dad was a truck driver too.  Basically that movie should have just been called Rocky Does Arm Wrestling, though that kind of sounds like a gay porn.

I'm curious to know who the other guy(s) in the movie will be.  I hope it isn't as that web page says: Dolph Lungren (rumored)

That would be lame.

QuoteSylvester Stallone Set For 'Rocky 6'
Shooting Set To Begin In December, Online Magazine Says
POSTED: 5:24 pm EDT October 13, 2005

Sylvester Stallone will put on the gloves and climb back into the ring for "Rocky 6," according to Production Weekly.

Stallone will write, direct and star in the sixth installment, the online magazine reports.

Production Weekly said the synopsis of the film is as follows:

"Lonely and at loose ends, retired boxer Rocky Balboa comes out of retirement, intending to fight a few low-profile local fights just to keep his hand in. But when he's approached to fight a match with reigning heavyweight champ Mason 'The Line' Dixon, Rocky's modest little comeback becomes the center of a media firestorm."

Shooting is set to begin in December in Los Angeles.

Geez, that's got 'Rocky V bad' written all over it.

I think he's supposed to die in this one...or something.

Isn't Rocky about 55 year old now?

Wasn't Foreman about that age when he made his comeback?

Foreman was about 300 lbs though.

No Rocky, don't do it.  You've got a family to think about.  :paranoid

I knew it was coming, and I still laughed.

They named the evil black opponet Mason Dixon?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Ironic, ain't it?

They should do a story about his disgruntled son suffering from a pyschological disorder after Tommy Gun stole his room.
