Disgruntled Packers' cornerback Mike McKenzie has hired his fifth different agent in his five-year NFL career and has reportedly received permission from the team to seek a trade, though no Packers official has confirmed as much. High-profile agent Drew Rosenhaus is now representing McKenzie and he is already talking with other teams about a potential deal. "They said they would like to get a first-round pick and perhaps an additional late-round pick or a player of comparative stature," Rosenhaus told the Green Bay Press Gazette.

1st + late round/player for McKenzie? :-D

joneszilla

thats kooky talk.  Nobody would bite on that.  not even the taterskins.

Zanshin

That's because they don't want to trade him.  They basically said farg you to McKenzie.

RomeyRome

I wouldn't give up anything more than an 8th rounder for that guy. :paranoid

moloko9

He's not going anywhere.
There is no way they break up this duo.

Tomahawk

LMAO w/ Moloko9

The Packers must want to keep McKenzie pretty bad.

He'd be gold for us if we could pry him off them.  We are staring Sheldon Brown and Lito sheppard.  he' sbetter than they are at leats, but there's no way anyone would give up that much for him.  But you never know.  Mark Brunell is getting 40 million.... ???

MURP

great pic!

there is no point in giving up a 1st round pick and paying him huge cash.  He isnt even a great CB.

speaking of all of this... found this interesting blurb in the delco times:

QuoteThe Eagles were said to be interested in disgruntled Pro Bowl Green Bay Packers cornerback Mike McKenzie, who has hired a new agent to facilitate a trade.

But McKenzie's old agent indicated that although the Packers gave him permission to seek a trade around the April NFL draft, one of the conditions was that he couldn't speak to the Eagles.

With Drew Rosenhaus handling McKenzie's affairs now, it will be interesting to see if that philosophy changes. The Packers are said to be seeking a first-round draft pick for McKenzie, a real talent but a young man prone to changing his mind.

Syracuse

I don't want that guy. He farging sucks.
I am an agent of chaos

That is interesting! I would give up AJ Feeley (2nd rounder) for him in a minute though!
