I'm gonna dig the battles between Al and Seth, but had a hard time keeping up with the mood swings of Sy. Do I kill you or let you go? Do I celebrate or hate?

It was a good opening episode tonight. I didnt think they would fight so quickly. Its good Joanie got her place because looks like she has some good working girls. Sy was showing a little manic depressive side. Good begining.

I liked it, but the fight scene was a little on the ridiculous side. Al's a little long in the tooth to be mixing it up like that and tumbling off of buildings without being much worse for wear.

was it just me or did last night's episode look different? i don't know if it was the lighting or what.

anyway, i thought the episode was just okay...too many "jokes" thrown in there, imo. i thought it took away from the story. hopefully things will improve as the season goes on.

Things are good in Deadwood.
That show is great.
Bullock and Al are going to have some epic battles, it seems.

I liked Al's impression of E.B. -- he sounded like Kermit The Frog!!

Bullock had a classic line at the end of the fight. With Al standing over him with the knife, he looks up at the "wife" and kid, and says, "Welcome to Deadwood."

That was Al. Thought the episode was a great table setter. I was hoping for great new character though.

I thought it was a great episode. Wow I was surprised with the fight, it was pretty intense. Bullock not only cheats on his wife, then he falls off the balcony and gets farged up. Talk about a zesty day.
I was laughing quite a bit, I think the humor is great. My personal favorite was Calamity Jane waking up on her horse as the buggy went by and yelled out, "corksuckers!" all drunk and hungover--instant classic.

I can't wait for next weeks episode. farg!
