I have a theory.  Why has Julianna Margulies' character been so easy to contact, and conveniently around the key players in Tony's group?  First, she approaches him about selling his building with a buyer who happens to have very deep and very open pockets?  Then, she happens to be in Christopher's Anonymous meeting, talking about her event where she was drawn to (almost) sleeping with a dangerous guy?  Man, is she ever so accessible.

She's a Fed...




(the main whole in my theory is the drug use.  Sure she has to get close, but in real life the Feds do absolutely everything possible to avoid drug use, and then if they have to use, they are taken into detox and counseling almost right away.  At least that's the way it was in Under and Alone: The True Story of the Undercover Agent Who Infiltrated America's Most Violent Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.  But, it always works out in TV and movies that the cops get to use.  So who knows?)

By the way -- that is a fantastic book.

She can be whatever she wants in it, she's hot.

Cast members of hit mafia series The Sopranos are demanding higher salaries after the show's bosses secured a string of lucrative rerun rights and staggering DVD sales. Jamie-Lynn Sigler, who plays Meadow, Robert Iler, who plays A.J., Steven Schirripa, who plays Bobby Bacala, Steven Van Zandt, who plays Silvio Dante, Lorraine Bracco, who plays Dr. Melfi, and Tony Sirico, who plays Paulie 'Walnuts', are all demanding a substantial rise before signing up for the final season, set to begin next month. They've reportedly threatened to walk out unless their wages more than double. However, network HBO is only offering a fraction of their demands, and may be forced to write characters out of the series if they don't settle. A source tells the New York Post, "It's coming down to the wire. HBO just doesn't want to pay. No one has deals and they're very far apart. (Show creator) David Chase has tried to help the actors, but even his pleas have fallen on deaf ears. The guys want (a new deal) to happen. These are the last eight episodes, and the money is going to be coming in for HBO for years to come. But the actors get no residuals - and they want to be compensated. They're being treated like dog s**t." An HBO spokesman refused to comment on the pay reports.

That sucks, but I can't blame the actors too much. It's the end of a run, and some of them might not get lucrative work elsewhere...so they want to be secure.

PASADENA, Calif. -- Sorry "Sopranos" fans, but you're going to have to wait -- again.

But you can blame James Gandolfini's "unexpected knee surgery" for a delay in "The Sopranos" schedule.

So, instead of the final episodes returning in January, they'll probably start running the beginning of March. 

HBO said the surgery threw things off for a couple of weeks. Then, it realized the delay would put the show in the middle of football playoffs and the Superbowl.

So, HBO is just waiting until football is finished for the new episodes to start.

-curb your enthusiasm gonna do another season, probably its last

-despite the fact that no one watches it, hbo wil probably give the wire a 5th and final season, which will tackle the media.

moving the sopranos to march sucks, but its probably a good idea. why go up against nfl playoffs, have to take a week off for the superbowl and then run your finale during feb sweeps when the major networks are gonna be gonna balls out to get people to watch?

whats great about it is that every season is totally different yet just as good or better

season 1 - deals with hustlin and drug sellin - the corner
season 2 - deals with union dockworkers and the russian mob
season 3 - deals with the inner workings of city state and pd politics

season two is the goat so far...but you must watch them in order
