Tony will be in a coma for the next few episodes, and we will see whats going on in his head during it (more Test Dream stuff  :yay)

This sets up the previously mentioned Syl/Vito power struggle for acting boss.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

If that is true I am going to kick your ass.

Thanks for the spolier, jerky. :flipoff

The big rumor going on now is that last week's episode was actually the last of the season and starting tonight they will show what lead up to Tony getting shot.

But then I read a little blurb in TV Guide today that said something about tonight being a lot of Tony in therapy stuff with Dr. Melfi.

I hope the last episode first shtein isn't true.

MDS

no it cant be. its tony in acoma and the resulting power struggle for acting boss.

The episode description for tonight:

Quote
"Join the Club": Tony has trouble on a business trip to the west coast; the New Jersey faction mourns the loss of another associate;  Christopher discusses terrorism with the FBI.

Sounds like a "before the shooting" story to me.

MDS

mourns the loss? the dude who hung himself

business trip? its what going on his head. test dream type stuff.

I guess. The FBI thing is most likely the agent appearing last week.

Yeah it seems to be the whole power struggle thing.

But what is the deal with the west coast "dream/coma trip", wrong guys name, etc?

SunMo

just so we are straight, i called coma/power struggle 2 minutes after Tony got shot last Sunday.  i own the world.

My interpretation was that the west coast is him being in the coma and going home to the east coast would be coming out of the coma.  Since he is living a different life while in the coma it makes me believe that he doesn't want to go back to the life he was leading (out of the coma).  The coma life is how he wished he turned out.

Yeah, I see the dream world as being his fantasy life for sure. There seems to be a real significance with the phone.

PhillyPhreak54

I agree, NGM. That's how I looked at it too.

Sus, I think the phone thing is when he hears Carmela or the kids talking to him by the bedside. He hears their voices but not what they are saying about the real world. It just goes into his whole fantasy land thing.

The episode started off slow.

However I liked seeing much more of Meadow. It just reaffirmed the fact that I want to make babies with her.

I also got a good chuckle when Paulie Walnuts called AJ "Van Helsing". :-D

Next week looks good.

Who gets capped? Someone is getting offed.

Vito, maybe?

Success. The Lounge in the first floor of the building has HBO. I watched it with some homeless looking kid who kept caughing and reeked of Malboro.

Did his wifes voice sound like Gloria to anyone?
Janice=Livia when seeing Tony. Exact same stunt she pulls when something bad happens.

His wife was definitely Dr Melfi on the phone.  At one point she was psycho analysing him over the phone.  The Monks were alitte unexpected.  there had to be some significance to the watchtower light and tony always looking over at it?
