I glance at each post to see who wrote it (I have sigs and avatars off) and just skip the post if it came from someone I'm tired of, or basically any post in reply to it, and go down the page to read what else is posted.  Once in a while I get tricked into reading a post or two but I've got my lawyers working on that.

You just haven't reached the threshold yet. Eventually Douchy McDouche will say something directed to you that is so inconceivably stupid and baseless that it blows your mind, and makes it impossible to respond to. At that point, you too, can ascend to a type of  CF Shangri la where the likes of King Cole, Munson, and Iggles36 do not have their respective posts read, and the articles on the main page get updated.
