You're going to miss out on all of this riveting conversation.

so the other 4 years they did it don't count?

Instead, the 2005 injury riddled, TO infested, McNabb hurt year is the only one that counts.

I get it.

Now the first thing one of you will say is the team is worse now then it was back then.
No, it isn't. The defense is most definately playing worse, but this offense is LIGHTYEARS ahead of the 2000-2003 days.

What will determine the outcome of this season will be if the team can cut out the stupid mistakes. They've really made a huge difference between 7-0 and 4-3. They can make it to 10-6 IF they can cut out the mistakes. This team is more talented then any Andy has had...but if anything, the 2006 Eagles have proven you can have all the talent in the world, and it won't mean shtein if you make too many mistakes and play stupid.

I'll stand by and wait before I make a real judgement on this team for the rest of the year. If they play like they are right now, I'm expecting 8-8 or 9-7. But who knows how they'll play for the rest of the year. History says they play better in the 2nd half of the year. Let's see what happens.

Once again you take three paragraphs to say absolutely nothing. This team is DEFINED by stupid mistakes. Cutting them out would make them an entirely different team than the one we've seen this year. The first half of this season should have been a cake walk but now that they are heading into the toughest part of their schedule against competent teams ON THE ROAD you think that they're going to get better magically? Clown.

Before the year I said 8-8 or 9-7 and so far that is exactly what this team is. Mediocre in every way. Mediocre teams finish with mediocre records so stop peddling your shtein because I'm not buying it.

They have three games in a row that should, on paper, not be difficult to win.  Jacksonville, Washington, and Tennessee -- all at home.  Those three games can foster a turn-around in the mentality of this team, plus let the offense figure out how to score points in the first half.  Three games in four weeks - against weaker opponents - could be exactly what this team needs to head into the final six games.

Mental mistakes are easier to fix than learning plays, positions, or other physical hurdles.  If they use these three games to beat the retardedness out of themselves, they can head into the rough stretch a better team, and win at least half of those last six games.  That would put them at 10-6.  If they take one more than that, they are an 11-5 team and could win the division.  10-6 should get them into the playoffs.

It's not impossible, and I don't think it's 100% improbable.  But it will take discipline in practice and in the games to pull it off.

All is not lost.

Cmon man you aren't fitting into the new style. It's cool to be irrationally negative now.
Calling it right on the $ since day one.
Just pointing laughing, and living it up while watching the Miami Heat stink it up.

Well...history proves we play better on the road than at the linc...just sayin. And Runyan was on DNL saying this team is well aware of their stupidity and that Reid went over it with them at the team meeting. He sounded like Reid emphasized that they need to stop playing like a bunch of retards.

rjs246

You mean the five minute team meeting? Yeah, I'll bet Andy really gave it to them both barrels...

Look IGYrjs, you weren't there, so you don't know.

My gut, and it's a rather good sized gut, tells me they are going to pull off a turnaround and stop this retarded shtein.

That was a rather limp wristed jab, Demon. You can probably do better.

You can't teach a retard new tricks, you can only hope they stop acting like retards.

Been working for 14 hours, and started drinking at work three hours ago.  You're probably right, so I'll try again tomorrow.
