Oh dear God. I have to admit I was a tad bit giddy when they drafted him. Never thought we'd be seeing the next Cade Mcnown?

Let me rephrase this, correct it was probably a bad comparison. Like Mcnown, Barkely was projected a top-10 selection for the 2012 NFL Draft. Kiper Jr. projected him to be the #1 pick in the draft after his freshman year. He stayed at USC one more year at it was a complete disaster. I was likening the hype of the 2011 Barkely to Mcnoun. I was psyched when they drafted Barkley. I really thought he could play at the next level. Unlike his predecessors Leinart and Sanchez, he seemed to have football smarts as well as an arm. I keep forgetting he played under farg face Kiffin
