You almost have to feel sorry for Gaffney. He went from being an assumed starter to fodder on a team that was desperate for receivers.

I remember a game last year on Sunday night when the Texans were playing.  Bob Trumpy the color man on the radio was ripping Gaffney a second butt-hole.  Was about one second away from calling him a Hoyda.  Wouldn't go over the middle, hesitant, lethargic.  Another first round WR bust.  I thought he just wanted out of Houston and would come here with something to prove.  Guess not.

Down here in D.C I don't get much info on the Birds anyways, anything going on in the media up there about someone they may be looking at?
