Keep your pants on, Sun.

i saw that, but nothing there leads me to believe that it's ever coming out.  they were talking about it in 2002, and when that was last updated (November '05) they were still in pre-production.

so i'm curious if anyone knows the answer to this.  i have the HD box with my flat screen in the living room and a regular tv with non-hd box in the bedroom.  since i started getting HD like a year and a half ago, if you had both TVs on at once, the HD signal was always like 3-4 seconds behind the regular feed.  for about the last few months, it's the total opposite, the HD feed is now about 2 secs faster than the regular feed.  i thought this was some random observation by me but then last night some girl brought up the same thing.  its probably something simple but i would like to know why this happened.

It's all in the processing that's going on at the time. I have a small kitchen TV hooked up right to the cable (no box), and the delay varies from day to day. Sometimes they are even quite close...but that's pretty rare.
