Ware has had such a bad D season, I actually wonder where his coverage skills are vs M. Lewis.  Seems like at times JJ just wants MW to just cover the TE...no special reads or anything, just man to man, and he can't do that.  Who knows with him.  Does he have horrible COD?  Is it a mental thing?  Positioning?  He's still an unknown to me, and apparently to the coaches as well.  That said, maybe he can work in at S - I think he's better suited there than CB, especially the way smaller, quicker WR's may be the 'new' trend, and he can't keep up with that.  Maybe even some as a Nickel LB.  I remember JJ saying earlier that he could put him in a hybird type role in a package for him.
Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No pro bowl WR's.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Retarded special teams.  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  "I've got to do a better job."  Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  Running game shines for 3 plays. Pass. Pass. Pass. PUNT.  No adjustments anywhere.  Pass.  Pass. Pass. PUNT.  (repeat)

Watching Burress & Toomer tower over the midgets they had in there on Sunday (other than Sheldon, of course) made me ill.

Draft a couple of corners with some size, already.

ice grillin you

size wouldnt be a factor if the wr's didnt have time to get down field camp out for a couple minutes then leap straight up for a ball

the secondary is fine...even michael lewis doesnt look so slow when the front seven is getting pressure
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

they definitely need front 7 help in the offseason, it should be the biggest priority.  followed by a WR.

Kearse will still be around, for many reasons, in 2006.  Cole will be the other starter at DE.  They will try to convince us that McDougle can be the 3rd guy in the rotation.  Kalu's contract is up and he won't be back.  So, they might draft someone here, possibly even early, but I would be shocked to see a FA brought in, since the starters are set.

Trotter will still be starting at MLB, but Adams will not likely be back, and Jones and/or Simoneau could easily be cut loose before next season also.  I think the team will look to bring in someone to "compete" with McCoy for the WIL spot, and they will open competition for the SAM spot.  We should have two new starters there.

DT could see a big overhaul too.  Hollis is cheap next year, but if he even utters one word about his deal, no reason to keep him around.  Walker has three years left on his deal, but the price could be right to trade him away.  Rayburn's cheap and will probably be kept around in the rotation.  I think the Eagles might look to add a new starter here, though.  Plus, we can hope Mikey P. focuses on conditioning this off-season and provides a spark.  He's having a good rookie season, but he needs to take the next step.

I think the secondary could benefit from some new defensive scheming and an improved front seven.  The starters should all be back for at least one more year.

Matt Ware is just saving his talent for the AFL. That's what he told me anyways.

After the way Roderick has filled in for Lito, who exactly would be willing to offer him big bucks and 'lure' him away in FA.

If some dumbass team is willing to offer him a ton of loot to be their starting CB, then by all means take him away and give us a compensatory pick.
