i could care less what they got for coburn....the best part of the move is that this is not your old flyers who in the past would have been delsuional deadline buyers because they have crept to within 6 pts of a playoff spot....hexy is signalling he knows this team sucks and its time to wipe the slate clean as much as possible...all praise due allah

Pretty much, Holmgren farged this team bad with signing bad players to long term deals...his trades blew too. At least Hextall is going away from that. Said it before but it bares repeating, Ed can't be gone soon enough. The mentality has always been lets win now for Ed not lets build a good team for the future.

mcdavid isn't a guy that gets traded....buffalo is tanking so hard for him...hes a superstar prospect on the level of a crosby

eichel is a notch below but I still cant see anyone dealing the #2 pick
