howie hasnt been calling the shots since chip got here that much is clear...you think chip had final say on the 53 but not the players who were drafted...those are the guys that are gonna be on the 53

stop paying attention to awful writers who are reporting stuff after the blow up and watch what the actual moves have been...its like you have blocked out or didn't pay attention to the last two years and are going by what elliott shore parks has to say now because it may fit your pro chip narrative

I do form my own opinions and I know he has a huge influence on players. I mean, that is pretty much how it is with every coach and their system. Them and the personnel people identify people that will fit their scheme and philosophy.

Chip isn't without blame or fault on the mistakes...I am not absolving him of the fargups. But I believe that, while he had a hand in it, everything wasn't on him.

But regardles...now everything IS on him...so lets see what's up. This is the most anticipated off-season for me in quite some time.

Totally agree.  This is the most anxious I've been since the off season leading into 2004.  Hoping, praying, losing and finally getting TO was unprecedented.  Throw in Kearse and that was an off season for the ages.  To bad Kearse only showed up for the first 4 games and disappeared after that.

while i was absolutely fascinated with the power plays that went on last week really nothing has changed but titles...chip is still making the picks...i dont have much faith that it will happen but my anticipation is in seeing if chip will come off his philosophy somewhat with howie now gone...perhaps he listens more to whoever he chooses as "GM" than he did howie...or does he hire someone who buys into his way of thinking...all i know is they need a huge influx of talent on the roster not culture not bachelor degrees not versatility not length....TALENT

but this isnt even the most anticipated offseason in the last two years....when andy was finally fired that was HUGE and provided shtein tons of anticipation and hope

the build up of anger and frustration of the wr's for years....then of course the agony of the conf champ losses and a WR savoir arrives.....nothing will ever be better than that training camp...I almost enjoyed being up there more than I did the regular season...I might as well have moved into a dorm at lehigh that summer....I bet i was there for 10 days

yeah that was the first friday....I purposely didn't go that day for that exact reason....altho I didn't think it would be that bad...I was more concerned with having to leave my house at 3am to get up there in time to not be six deep on the fence...I was there I think on thursday and it was nuts so I knew the weekend was gonna be out of control...people forget because of TO but that was also jevon kearse too
