My first, too. Hell of a fourth quarter. And two years ago I think one of us could have kicked better than Sam Ficken. He's had a helluva turnaround.

franklin needs to get the recruiting machine going. gonna be that much tougher in the big ten with harbaugh going to mich.

hes an excellent recruiter but no matter how good he is he will never be on the level with ohio st or Michigan (when Michigan is back up)....still reruting isn't his problem....coaching is...hes a terrible coach

penn state needs to realize their place in cfb....they have a chance to be maybe a notch above a program like wisconsin....where every once in a while you have a dream season and win the big ten....maybe its because a couple recruiting classes exceeded expectations or because michigan and/or ohio had a down year....but they aren't winning a natty ever again and the big ten conf. title is gonna be once a decade...what may change this is if Michigan never gets back to their glory....maybe like penn state they are permanently more of a northern regional type power rather than a national player....if that happens then penn state perhaps wins a couple big ten titles every decade
