that should give you the points the pass over them
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Absolutely ridiculous.

actually its on point....thats what i like about the committe vs. polls....while you might not agree with everything they do having the human element control things is great because you largely get the best teams first....with polls youd have florida state #1 right now and baylor would be ahead of tcu when pretty clearly tcu is the best of those three...i especially like tcu being ahead of baylor even tho they lost to them head to head

What a shock you'd disagree.

12-0.  The ACC was 4-0 against the SEC last weekend.  FSU has run the table.  They're #2 in the AP.

It's bullshtein.

But hey, it's all good.

lol....worst reasoning ever

this is why the committe is great because you have human beings actually watching games....not computers doing it or a sportswriter in washington state voting on a team hes seen play once all year....and anyone who has watched has seen that florida state is not better than the three teams ahead of them....it doesnt mean they cant beat them but you have to evaluate how each has played up to this point...its irrelevant anyway...if florida state wins they are in

The argument against FSU is the ACC is weaker than the other power conferences.  4-0 demonstrates that's a fallacy.  12-0 demonstrates they've beaten everyone on their schedule.  The other three teams above them have not.  They've lost at least once.  That indicates a deficiency in their claim to be above a team which has gone unbeaten.  I know you're a biased contrarian but even you have to see the logic in that line of reasoning, right?

Nevermind.  Look at who I'm talking to...

no thats not the argument...conferences dont factor in at all to the committee....its how each individual team plays

its laughable to think that because louisville beat kentucky this past week florida st deserves to be ahead of tcu

the only question you should be asking yourself is do you think florida state is a better team than tcu.....ive seen a lot of both and imo the answer is no

to be honest florida state shouldnt even be in the top 4 right now

I don't think FSU should be below TCU.

That being said, the 4-0 versus the SEC line is very misleading.  GT beating UGA is a legit win despite UGA pissing the game away, agreed.

After that you had the first, third, and fourth best teams in the ACC beating (narrowly in two games) three of the worst SEC teams.  People who have used the 4-0 record as if it means something are missing all context.  It's like if the SEC thumped its chest because Alabama, Auburn, and Mississippi State narrowly defeated Wake Forest, UNC, and BC.

thats fine as long as you believe this because you think florida state is a better team....it shouldnt be because they are undefeated or the defending champs...or what conference they are in

I love the human element and while it is debatable whether TCU should be ahead of FSU - lets be real....Florida State has not played great football. Yes they are undefeated but they have been pretty sloppy. If they'd run up against good teams they would have more than one loss by now.

I don't trust TCU yet.  I watched most of the Kansas game two weeks ago.  Kansas is legit terrible and TCU could've lost that game.  I think they're better than Baylor (and I'm sick of people saying a 3 point home win should make up for the fact that Baylor has beaten TWO teams with winning records all year [and I think TCU would be favored on a neutral field]), but I don't know that they've proven they're better than FSU yet.  I think that game would probably be a PK on a neutral field whereas Bama and Oregon would both be favored (I think Oregon is the best team right now though I think Bama's ceiling is highest in an individual game).

not that i believe in tcu but if you wanna talk about not believing in teams oregon is the one id pick...they might not get out of this weekend....would be utter chaos if florida state and oregon both lost this weekend which easily could happen....its too bad the sec east was so down this year because bama vs a legit florida lsu or georgia team or even last years mizzou team would be great....a very real shot of 3/4 teams going down would be fun
