Rog saw the first interview playing out, called Feva and told him to pull the plug.  Then he texted Polian with a pic of his family being held hostage in Syria and said "U no wut 2 do"  20 minutes later we get that nonsense.

without getting into any of this nonsense, i will just say that there is no chance in hell that goodell saw this video before we all did. he may not be the best commissioner but he's a lawyer and not a chance he gives a two game suspension knowing that this new video is even a thing.

but even if you somehow believe he didnt see it thats no excuse...when players take a banned substance and say they didnt know it was in their protein shake...rogers answer is that ignorance is not an excuse...SUSPENDED....when sean payton said he didnt know his defensive coordinator was handing out bounties goodell said ignorance is not an excuse....SUSPENDED FOR A YEAR...so while he can go on lying about not having seen the video and conduct a phony "independent" investigation he still needs to go away for at least a year for the same ignorance is not an excuse policy he drops on others

Rog is the commish.  If his position is that he didn't know that the tape was in his office, then he's admitting incompetence and that he lost organizational control.

then goodell says well there are legal blockades to the casino releasing that video
and nj state law enforcement was like there was nothing preventing revel from givign the nfl that tape

then rog says well i dont know what to tell you but no one in the nfl had ever seen that video before monday
and a voice mail from a high ranking exectutive in the nfl was like this video is uh horrible (this is in addition to chris mortenson having talked to someone in the nfl who told him how bad the video was back in may)

in other words mort and the nj state police were able to find people in the nfl offices who had seen the video but goodell couldnt?

so then after all that roger is still like well I havent seen it

hmm well i haven't really been paying that much attention but if these things are true then nevermind everything i said.

He's the commissioner of a testosterone driven league with 0 female employees outside of administrative-type roles.  He rules with an iron fist.  He was likely mocked endlessly as a kid for having a girly name.  It would not surprise me in the least if he hated women and viewed domestic violence as a minor offense.
