Let me guess... one is white and one isn't.

ice grillin you

that would be correct

A = ryan howards MLB numbers this year
B = darrin ruf's minor league numbers this year

MDS

they could start by calling up mediocre mikey franco

hes not black OR white
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

All Sandberg is missing is some cornrows and a nailgun because he's put Choke in the vacants.

ice grillin you

in a general sense i have no problem sitting choke...especially if its something like where he only plays against righties....but thats mostly if he was blocking a prospect or they had a legit replacement...newsflash to much of the fanbase they don't

this notion that permeates much of the fanbase that darrin ruf is some sort of prospect/upgrade/savoir/good player etc. is a friggin joke

It's one thing to relegate him to a platoon situation or whatever but he's been buried. And he has no one but himself to blame because it is performance related...but to bury him like this...like he's the sole reason for their struggles is ridiculous.

MDS

hes not being buried...hes sitting for like 4 games. in football his ass woulda been cut 3 years ago. but in baseball its poor wittle choke he deserves roses and hugs and kisses.

and for some reason sandberg never took him out of the cleanup spot. even today. hes still there.

because sandberg is completely out of his league as a manager...its a toss up as to whats worse his managing or his handling of the locker room

even the zesty ass cubs knew not to hire him.....he needs to go way before choke

im not fighting this...but choke really doesnt belong in an NL lineup anymore. he flat out cannot play. hes been regressing since 2008, actually. a straight up benching was long over due.

i really dont care what they do with choke....but pretty much anything including releasing him is better than benching him for darrin ruf

This is so spot on!  The fact the Cubs never hired the guy should have been the red flag.  He is not a big league manager.

As i type this and speaking of people who should not be on an MLB roster, Asstardo serves up another dinger.  Get him the farg out of here.  Please.
