yea its awful good

love the fact that its 8 and out, too. tv needs more short-form storytelling like this. get in, do a limited number, get out.

I agree 8 is not enough but on the other hand I'm glad they're not dragging the story out just to make a few extra episodes. I guess they wrap this up with 8 episodes.

the "series" will continue next year, presumably since the ratings/buzz are good, but with a new cast and story. the tone and story telling style might or might not be similar.

and yes the fact thats its 8 is a good thing. not every show needs to be 12 per season over 5 years...get on with it motherfarger

if it was season five of the show and its run its course I would agree...get out.....but in the first and only season it having 12 episodes rather than 8 would have simply meant four more episodes of awesomeness....its not all of a sudden gonna suck in s1 ep 9...especially when you have two awesome movie actor leads who arent coming back....you wanna get as much as you can out of them

then again they may have not taken the roles if it was longer than 8?

i know they werent coming back for another season....not sure what the decision was to do 8 specifically. probably a creative/time decision. they were only getting woody and mackconohay for 4-5 months and with this show thats about how long it takes to shoot 8 episodes.

im really interested to see who they get next year to do it. with the way this season went--the quality and the buzz--theyll probably have some really good options.

Partially right, they banged. The ending with his taillight still broken spoke more about Cole's last 10 years than 5 episodes of interrogations.

Woody's side piece from the trailer park brothel is on "Banshee", she's a amish whore though on that show.

Great episode, Cole going after Tuttle was a great scene. Also, Spiros as their major makes for at least 2 wire actors, and Drunk Steve from Deadwood. It does suck there's only two epi's left, but they'll be action packed at least.
