was the best win since the giants comeback? most meaningful since....nfccg 2004?
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

EJ, I'm not supposed to say this but Dallas brought it today and Orton played very well. He had a bad throw and it cost them... But 9 times out of 10, Orton leads them for a game winning FG.

Eagles just got lucky last.

Good game EJ. I'd wish you luck in the offseason, but that would be prohibited by my prime directive. Hope to see you around.

Yeah, I was stunned by the pressure they got on Foles. It wasn't all on Orton though, they abandoned the run, got predictable on offense again and went pass happy. I know you guys know how that is.

As soon as Orton let go of that last pass I yelled "Oh GAWD" because I just had this instant image of a game killing pick again.(Our dog woke up, cocked his head and look at me like I was an alien).

Orton played pretty well but he threw behind receivers more than once(Two ended up as INTs) and missed open guys as well. Witten was open on that two point conversion attempt but he didn't even look his way. It probably doesn't help when your primary backup does no work with the first team offense until the last week of the season. Idiotic. Oh well. They played better than I expected but at the end of season, it's same ****, different toilet.

It was a good game though. The entire day had some crazy endings, so it was a pretty good day for a football fan. My neighbor is a Bears fan and I swear I heard him yell "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCC...." when the Packers took the lead.  :-D

I'll wish you guys luck in the playoffs because I wouldn't mind seeing the fans here have the chance to relish a title. Screw you in the offseason and going into next year though.  ;D J/K. I don't visit football boards as much as I used to but I may stop by now and again.

Three things can happen when you throw the ball, and two of them are bad.

Have to give credit where it's due, the cowboys manned up last night defensively.  Heck of a game, but there  has to be some curse on Dallas to lose that way over and over.

Not really. They've been an 8-8 franchise for the last 3 years and I believe are basically a .500 franchise since their last SB.  They're the poster child for mediocrity and mediocre doesn't win big games.

You fargin' hear that, Andy?  Mediocre doesn't win big games.

SeaBiscuit, I was basically stunned by how much pressure we got on Foles.

Sgt PSN, you would be correct. We're basically a .500 team since our last Super Bowl win. Wade actually has had the best record of any coach in that time, was the only one to manage a playoff win and two seasons with double digit wins.

Switzer's last two seasons: .500, double digit wins once.
Gailey: .563, double digit wins once.
Campo ::) : .313
Parcells: .531, double digit wins once.
Phillips: .607, double digit wins twice, lone playoff win.
Garrett: .518

5/18 seasons with double digit wins.
8/18 seasons above .500
10/18 seasons at .500 or below, including four straight now.

2-7 in the playoffs in that time.

Jerrah doesn't mind mediocrity as long as it puts butts in the seats. Oh well.

It's either The Curse of Jimmy Johnson, aka The Hairspray Hex or Jerrah sold his soul to Satan for those three SBs. He loses either way.
