Choke is still owed 3/$85M or 4/$98M
Pap is still owed 2/$26M or 3/$39M

Can't really complain about Cliff's deal and it's still too early for Cole's one

Hartnell is still owed 6/$28.5M

killa is still owed 4/$39.8M after this season (or $5M in dead cap space if they trade/cut him)

Rogers Sportsnet says the Flyers and Oilers are working on a deal that would send Simmonds and possibly Luke Schenn to Edmonton for Eberle and Hemsky

I was just coming here to post that SD. This team is an abortion, but Mason has looked like a very good goalie so far. No defense and no offense mean that this team will suck shtein, but at least flyer fans can't complain about the goalie play for once.

Choke is still owed 3/$85M or 4/$98M - terrible deal but he was once an mvp so concieveably he could come back to form but even if he doesnt the team is going to suck no matter what so its not like his deal will hold them back

Pap is still owed 2/$26M or 3/$39M - horrendous deal but see above....especially the reliever positon which gets hot and cole year to year more than any other

killa is still owed 4/$39.8M after this season (or $5M in dead cap space if they trade/cut him) - nfl contracts are never bad cause they are guaranteed

Who thought the Flyers would get back to even before Thanksgiving?  Hell, I didn't think they'd get there this season.

They've turned the corner. Whether it was the coaching change or whatever they look like a totally different team. Mason carried them up to this point, but now they're putting the puck in the net and not making stupid mistakes. At the very least they're entertaining to watch.

It's watchable.  Thats surprising because this entire season was a wast up till 12 games ago.  Somehow that Caps game actually turned a page.

i agree with the watchable part vs the turned a corner part...they did beat the pens but i dont believe they have beaten a single team with a winning record otherwise

its very similar to the eagles....each teams division is garbage....the patrick division is actually worse than the nfce its crazy how bad it is....neither team has beaten anyone thus far and each teams sked gets real from now thru december

we will know around christmas what the real deal is with the flyers and sixers
