As much as I loathe Boston I'm really happy for Shane.   I won't watch an inning of the Series, though, because farg Bahhhhstan and Baseball Nirvana.

I like Shane.  He's my favorite Phillie of that WFC team.  As SD said above, he's a great guy.  He's a working class dude who busted his ass with limited talent and made a phenomenal career for himself.   There's no reason why as an ex-Phillie I wouldn't be happy for him succeeding after he left, especially considering he wouldn't have to beat the Phillies in order to succeed.

As for the "Series" I hate both teams.   I've watched at least a couple hundred baseball games this year, the Phillies aren't playing, and I don't have any interest in who wins.  It's not exactly brain surgery.

Cuba seems to put out good product. At least we don't have to go after Cano and tie up Billions of dollars on his contract. Anaheim, open your wallet and tie up your future with this guy.
