The fact that SD ranks as high as it does says all you need to know. Nearly half of their ticket sales for each game are to transplants living locally who want to see their hometown team and people who like traveling to watch their favorite teams play in 70 degree weather in Nov/Dec.

QB Eagles

If I'm understanding their method correctly, they are taking box office revenue and then adjusting for the quality of the team, economics of the city, and other factors. Since most NFL games sell out, it seems like the main factor being measured is ticket prices (adjusted a bit for the economic health of the city the team is in). They assume that teams that can extract more money from their fanbase always will, to an equal degree. That doesn't seem like a true statement to me.

Compare that list to the list of 2010 ticket prices to see what I mean: https://www.teammarketing.com/public/files/2010_NFL_FCI.pdf

I hate the Raiders but they have a top 10 fanbase...certainly not 32. Half of Qualcomm is Raiders fans when they play the Chargers.

MDS

their fan base is exclusively made up of violent psychopaths.

its not top 10 anything
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

The jaguar helmets are all kinds of awful.

Well that's what happens when Roger's Gestapo forces players to go low because of ridiculous flags for hits around the head and shoulders.

Collateral damage, Dustin Keller...sorry for your bad luck.

KC traded Jonathan Baldwin to SF for A.J. Jenkins in a swap of disappointing 1st-rd WRs

That's a good point. And the NFL won't get sued for blown knees but will for head injuries that you can't prove either way, so probably rules won't be changing any time soon.
