what might be most disconcerting about all this is how incredibly tone deaf roob is...he probably thinks this move will put some of the blame on charlie and less heat on him when in reality people are going to hate him in two ways now...one as a terrible gm and one as a terrible person....the guy is just completely clueless and a fleshpop on top of that.....its very reminiscent of rich kotite

hes also completely clueless as to how bad this team is....i had to lol when he said he still believes this team has the talent to win it all
i can take a phrase thats rarely heard...flip it....now its a daily word

Ryne's press conference was pretty much Bowa 2.0.  Said the players are being paid too much to be goofing off like this, the vets need to take the younger guys under their wings and teach them the right ways to do things, said he likes chatter on the field but also wants these guys putting in enough pregame work, says lackadaisical effort will be addressed

jroll will be demanding a trade tomorrow.

what else is farged up is that he knew during the last game of the braves series...so he knowingly managed his last game on the road instead of home

infuriating.  this bullshtein has rube's stink all over it. i hate that smug motherfarger more than i hated wade and that's saying something.

murderdeathkill this whole farging franchise.

Holy

farging

shtein

What a disgusting move by that corksucking loser Amaro. He is the worst motherfarger to ever work for one of our franchises and that's saying something. What a gutless and cowardly move by a little icehole.

I've always liked Charlie and to do him like this is a joke and reeks of unprofessional behavior by an icehole GM and President (farg you too Monty)

This is as angry as I've ever been with this piece of shtein franchise.

The only think that would even begin to make sense would be that they're not sold on Sandberg and want to give this as a "tryout" period before making him permanent manager.

That said... Cholly needed to be given the season.  Let him retire with dignity.

And fire Amaro... right out of a cannon.

he managed six years in the minor leagues....the Phillies are a glorified AAA team right now....him coaching this roster for 1 month tells them absolutey NOTHING about sandberg

It tells them they weren't re-signing Cholly, so let's cut bait and see if Sandberg can fill out a lineup card full of underachieving veterans and clueless kids while not projectile vomiting.

Hence the next part of my original post.  Cholly needed to be given the season.  And a cannon may be too good an exit for Amaro.

I don't know if I can watch that video. Is that him crying?

He had the farging balls to off Chuck like he did and then farging cry about it?!

Oh that's a farging gem. Be proud, David Montgomery.

Shut out in Ryno's first game in the big chair.     Way to turn it on, Fellas.

Charlie has no intentions of retiring, but that's besides the point.  You don't shteincan the winningest manager in the history of the losingest franchise in sports history in the middle of August, 45 days before his contact is up.  It's a minor league move by a minor league franchise. What's Ryne going to prove over the next 6 weeks?  That he can make a bunch of losers less losery?

If he's the manager in waiting, then let him wait a few more weeks.
