I wanted Peter Warrick or Plaxico in that 2000 draft.  Oops.  Oh and Urlakkerrzzz went 3 picks after Simon

Didn't Plax give fatty the shaft at his pre draft interview?  Wanted to go to the NCAA Bball finals in which MSU was playing.  The way lard ass developed receivers he would have had a Freddie Mitchellesque career as a bird if they drafted him.

what
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Roob:

QuoteThe last time the Eagles drafted a player in the first three rounds who had a 10-sack season? Would you believe Jerome Brown, the ninth player taken in the 1987 draft? That's 26 years ago.

LOL @ this stat.  I didn't want to believe it and thought that he had to have overlooked Corey Simon, but Simon missed double digit sacks by .5 during his rookie year and never really came close to getting 10 any time after that.  #pathetic

to be fair they have only drafted five or six DE since then....also burgess did it just not with the eagles

QuoteBrandon Graham has played in 32 games in his career and has now had four defensive coordinators – Sean McDermott, Juan Castillo, Todd Bowles and Billy Davis. He also had three in four years at Michigan. That’s seven coordinators in eight years. Tough to gather momentum in your career like that.

Coaching changes can be a disruption, but sometimes I think it's a bit overstated how much of a disruption they are. It also seems possible that Graham's career hasn't gathered much momentum because he isn't very good.

especially at DE....get off your block tackle the qb....rinse wash repeat....obviously theres more to it than that but its not like this year where the defense has to learn an entire new system....grahams coordinators were changing not the entire system....classic roob excuses....hes such a schill for the eagles

that said and fwiw i was reading last week that football outsiders had him with in the top 3 in the nfl in hurries per play....i suppose he could be somehwta effective this season.....but its only gonna be on a part time basis.....mostly passing downs...cause he cant play the edge in a 3-4 on normal downs and he cant play in space period

DE has got to be the simplest position on the field.

Watching some extreme RV show on Travel channel and they're showing a bit from 2011 they did on the guy who owns the "Eagle One" RV.  I've seen them at home and road games but never talked to them.  Assumed they were rich South Jerz douches, and they are, but the guy did have 1 cool story about being pulled over in Chicago and told the cop that he had the Eagles QB inside and needed to get him to the stadium, so the cop gave him an escort.

howie is on wip right now and just announced that he is going to have a show every monday night on the station

as hard as it is to hear him speak i have to give it to him (and the organization) in that hes trying to completely change the culture bwtn front office and fans and once and for all blow up banner inc.

he said he wants to start this era with the fans and grow together thru it...that he will answer all questions good and bad and he will never lie...believable or not i will them an A for effort right now....they really are trying to change the fanbase perception of the organization

They failed miserably by moving camp away from Lehigh.

nah.....i personally prefer lehigh but i like most people didnt really care that much....maybe for like 15 minutes after it was announced....in fact the open practices at the linc were a massive success

i dont know a single person cept jay who was super upset....even the complaint calls to wip where people tend to go overboard on things were minimal

I'm still pissed.  Of course, Lehigh is like a 45 min drive from me and Philly is 2.5 hrs.  So that's really my biggest gripe.  Finally move back to PA and am a stone's throw away from camp and they farging move.  Plus, I never got to check out a camp at Lehigh, so I really just wanted to see it one time.  Last time I actually saw them in camp was the summer of 93, heading into my senior year of high school.

I really liked going to Lehigh, especially in the early days. That was awesome. Just a totally different sort of up-close feel to it.

most people go to camp tho for autographs and the "fan experience" not to see who is going to make the team or watch practice....and the fan experience at the linc topped lehigh by a lot

i personally am way more upset by the awful practices now not the location...i dont care if the camp was held in my back yard....with no hitting at all and most practices in shells it is just brutal to watch

nothing will ever top an andy practice
