So are the fans.  The last 3 games totaled 99,000 in attendance, the lowest in 6 years

If any of them had half a brain cell they were there to see McCutchen and Marte.  Those two guys are a treat to watch.

Kendrick having a strong game tonight.  Howard actually hit a home run.  Phils up 4-0 in the 7th.

Can't wait to see how the bullpen blows this one...

Cholly's going to let Kendrick take the mound in the 9th to try to get the shutout.

Just did some figuring:  Since the first outing of the season (and technically that was one bad inning), Kendrick has given up four earned runs in 28 innings:  a 1.33 ERA over four outings.

Kendrick has been ridiculous.  I watched the replay after the draft and the Mets had no clue against him.  Granted it's the Mets, but still... wow.

The saddest part about this team is starting pitching has been good. Usually when starting pitching is good the rest of your team falls into place. Not with these clowns.

Attendance is down, which is good and bad. Good because fans are smart enough to realize managements appeal to fans for one final WS is falling short, management should respond by making changes. Bad because they'll have less money to spend. They need to be Marlin type sellers at the deadline. Utley/Rollins/Lee/Halladay/Ruiz can still get you decent prospects. They all have either WS or playoff experience. It would suck not seeing Utley/Rollins/Ruiz finish their careers as Phils but that's modern baseball.

My concern is this team is going to get hot and reel off a classic 15 out of 20 win streak before the all star break and Smug will use it as an excuse not to make the moves they're going to need to make.

I can see that happening. He's really good at selling low and buying high and not knowing the market.
