McShay's latest mock:
-- Eagles take Lane
-- Joeckel/Fisher/Floyd top 3
-- Eifert to the Browns at #6 (yea ok)
-- Jordan to the Cardinals at #7
-- Nassib to the Bills at #8
-- Milliner to the Titans at #10
-- Warmack to the Dolphins at #12
-- Star to the Panthers at #14
-- Geno completely out of the 1st round

Kiper's latest mock:
-- Eagles take Geno
-- Joeckel/Ansah/Floyd top 3
-- Milliner to the Lions
-- Jordan to the Browns
-- Fisher to the Cardinals
-- Star to the Titans
-- Lane to the Chargers
-- Warmack to the Jets at #13

Rome

If the Eagles take Geno Smith at #4 then just go ahead and ship the franchise to L.A.

I would take that proposed ATL deal in a milisecond.

I do not want Fisher.

I would prefer to trade back and get Jones

also - Warmack's OL coach at ALA is now the Birds OL coach

Just curious, why don't you want Fisher?

I don't want any OT.

Defensive studs needed. Nasty rip off your head motherfargers.

OT is fine with Peters and Herremans.

OT is fine with Peters and Herremans.

They're both long in the tooth and coming off injuries. OT is a need and luckily Herremans is versatile meaning they can get away with drafting an OT and not having him wait his turn.

OK got it, it isn't anything against Fisher.

Fisher or Joeckel are the only 2 players I'd be satisfied with at 4 since for me there are a few others right behind them that are roughly about the same and I'd be happier if they were able to drop a few slots and get one. It is a good point about the D needs but as I look at it, this as a five year plan with probably 3 years before they expect to be competitive in the playoffs. So with that in mind I'd rather get a stud tackle while they can now (a 2fer with manneans to RG) and build up the D over the next couple of years.

They're both born in 1982....31yrs old. That's not old in OL years at all.

QB Eagles

no QB +
no RB +
no Canadian fireman +
no "smartest guys in the room" pick
= OK pick with me

They need everything. Take the best player, dammit.

that is old...and peters coming off double achilles injuries is even older....that said id rather have one of the guards than the tackle this year just because they are dominant at their position where as none of the tackles grade out as studs

For real. Manneans and Peters are farging ancient with injury histories. If one of the tackles is there you take him without hesitation.

But really what everyone wants them to do is trade back because that makes the most sense in lots of obvious ways. So instead they'll draft Smith and I'll spend the rest of the offseason and most of the season being angry about it.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

Schefter says the Eagles are one of five teams in the top 12 that want to trade back.  The Lions, Browns, Bills and Dolphins are the others

No need to if they're trading for Albert.  They'll stay and take a CB
