plus it perfectly encapsulated why they are so terrible

-first off the supposed ace gives up a hit to the 20 year old pitcher who came to this country on a raft 4 years ago--a run set up by a terrible route your oafish right fielder took to the ball.
-then bumblefarg mcgee used 35 moves likes its game 7 of the world series and burns his entire bench over the course of 2 innings, all to get kevin frandsen an at bat
-then they score 1 measly run off a glorified AA team. and it was only because their shortstop air mailed a routine double play the backup catcher rolled in because hes farging terrible
-then, because they took the first baseman out of the game, bumblefarg has to put someone who hasnt played the position in 3 years there. and he proceeds to boot a grounder.
-finally, GRIT cant make a play a 16 year old can make and they finally lose this dreadful game

no offense. an ace that cant shut the door. horrendous defense. a manager without a clue. this is your 2013 philadelphia phillies in a nutshell.
