The fargin penguins traded for Iginla. I thought I would be able to deal with this zesty lost season knowing that Bryz will be gone and the hope that maybe they can pull a real top line defender out of their ass. But if the farging pens win the farging cup again I'm gonna lose it.

if the flyers can get seth jones and amnesty breezy that will almost be as good as a cup

instead they will get the third pick miss out on not only jones but also mckinnon and homers first official move of the offseason will be giving breezy a vote of confidence

Unless they pull a Penguins-like tank for the rest of the season there's no way they get Jones. In fact they're basically 50/50 to make the playoffs in my opinion because they've been playing way below their talent level. Regardless, I'm not counting on the draft to help them all that much.

granted they have a couple of games in hand but they are four pts away from being in last place in the league...really where they need to get to to is at least the #2 spot which is only two pts away

shtein even if they stayed where they are now (3rd worst overall) theyd still be right in the lottery mix for one of the top two picks

dont be tricked into thinking they have more talent than theyve showed...they stink for real....the question is will they stink quite enough

also dont discount a fire sale at the trade deadline which would make them even worse...to be fair with ed snyder as owner you also cant discount them trying to make a move at the dealine to get into the playoffs as well....i happen to refuse to believe they will be this stupid

This is basically the same team that they had last year. It's pretty clear that they're wildly underperforming. Regardless all I want is for them to tank, which won't happen and I 100% believe that they are stupid enough to fight for a playoff spot.
