its a systematic lack of talent. you cant have these 1 and dones and subsequent lack of dominate teams and expect to see good basketball. when gonzaga is no 1, when butler makes back to back title games, when play in game vcu makes the final 4, when a freshman loaded kentucky team win a title you are more than in a funk

if you took just the top 25 western kentucky teams of all time this years version wouldnt make it....yet they should have beaten kansas last night

aau-inazation of the game. nobody good sticks around past their sophomore year. nobody good even really wants to be in college.

if it wasnt for the tournament and office pools cbb would be dead. but the fact is no one really cares people about the product people just want to fill out their brackets. in fact every single coach and analyst openly admits the quality is insanely bad. but everyone keeps cashing their checks.

it hurts the nba, too. they never get players coming in with buzz. they need to go to baseball rules.

high school kids can get drafted but are ineligible from ncaa only if they sign. meaning if they are drafted but dont like the feel they can go to college. but if you go to college, youre there for 3 years.

yeah its sickening how all anyone cares about is brackets...its actually worse than fantasy football because at least with the nfl people still care about the actual games...cbb is literally about a sheet of paper one month a year and nothing else

no one ever talks cbb during the year. and nice theres no good teams, seeding doesnt matter. it used to be death to be a 7/10 or 8/9 because youd be stuck against the 1 or 2. now it doesnt matter. no team is that good. so basically all you need to do is get in and you can conceivably win the tourney.

i hope the final four this year is something like florida gulf coast-la salle-creighton-oregon. jim nantz will have a heart attack.
