chung has more of chance obviously than the mm but its incredibly premature to annoint him at this time

the argument is that chung isnt very good and signed for glorified special teams/back up money

i certainly dont discount him winning the job...hes only 25 and could turn his downward trajectory around but id be really disappointed if they didnt draft a safety or sign another one to compete

no way Chung will be a back up on this defense. if he's healthy throughout camp he is the starter--problem is what is likely to happen mid season. He signed for glorified back up money because he didn't have a choice due to his injury history.

they def should still be drafting at the position though.

lol what?..."no way"...you again are excelling at being really dumb...in fact hes just about the perfect back up/special team nfl'er...if the eagles drafted eric reid in the second round chung would almost assuredly be a back up...in fact i would say he will only start if they dont seriously address the position any further

he had a few good games in 2010.....it has a lot more to do with how good he is than his health....when a 25 year old cant make any money on an open market it aint about injuries...trust me if he could play hed would have gotten more money

dook cant cover his eyes....he was benched and drafted over by the patriots who were bad against the pass...after the eagles historically bad pass defense last year i certainly would not use ink when putting chung #1 at SS on the depth chart right now

id say its 65/35 he starts opening day and 50/50 he starts the entire year if he doesnt get hurt...either way its way to early to say hes the starter now
