goldson is an obvious pick because of his stature on the market and its a huge position of need but in general i wonder how these people decide what names they are going to throw out there....because you know everything they report has as much validity as any of us making a post on this board since the eagles brain trust talks to no one

On top of what you said, the Tom Gamble hire made this "story" too easy for the reporting world

Andy Levitre wouldn't be a bad pick up. He doesn't dominate but he's solid and consistent.

I damn sure wouldn't be mad if they signed Goldson, but I dunno... somehow, I'd rather have William Moore or maybe even Glover Quin. They're both younger with less wear and tear on them and should cost less. Moore is just as much of a ballhawk, if not more and both are decent in run support. Moore can also play both S positions pretty well. Grab him and say, Matt Elam in the 2nd if you can and safety could be set for years.

Goldson's fine... but Moore would be better for the Eagles IMO.
