reminds me a little of the Freak.

way more athletic...but to be fair hes also like 25 lbs lighter

mayock compares him to aldon smith but imo he needs to gain weight to get there as well

i see more julian peterson right now

I'd take the floor of a Julian Peterson and a ceiling of Aldon Smith. Dude is 6'7" so the weight should come easy, when I watched him play I saw some JPP qualities.

A couple of post-combine mocks:

NFLDraftScout (Rob Rang) 2/26 = Joeckel / Floyd / Werner / Milliner / J.Jones
WalterFootball 2/27 = Joeckel / Jordan / Floyd / Richardson / Milliner
Shutdown Corner (via Yahoo) 2/27 = Fisher / Mingo / Joeckel / Lane Johnson / Milliner
Drafttek 2/28 = Lotulelei / Werner / Moore / Joeckel / J.Jones

Howie was on with Mikey Miss this afternoon. He made a reference to the OL/DL and DB depth in the draft. The DB one caught me off guard but then he followed it up by praising Millner and his 4.3 40 time. Hopefully it's just smoke.

Don Ho

LOL at drafttek.

Sheldon Richardson DT from Misouri, is climbing everyone's charts.

yeah i dont see DB depth in the draft...i see safety depth....if you wanted a corner last year was the loaded year

#324
It'd be interesting but I think he's going to Houston or New England in the late 1st

btw the Eagles aren't getting the Colts' 7th-rd pick from the Fokou/Lloyd trade.  I know....devastating

for future reference when discussing teams getting a certain player with a pick it should be assumed that the player could be chosen at a spot other than where the team originally picks

ex. eagles "second selection" isnt necesarily going to be #35

Understood, but I don't see the Eagles trading up into the early 20s to take another pimp

ice grillin you

id agree with that if tavon was a WR.....they both are freak athletes but different players....tavon has immeasurable lateral quicks....pimp is more straight up north and south speed

also tavon would be a dual threat who could just as easily line up in the backfield as spread out...huge mismatch creator

i dont think it would happen but depending on how much cache chipper has in the front office i could see him salivating over a guy like austin and pushing for him...i dont see howie/gamble taking him

Agree completely, he would light it up in Philly. An offense with Shady - Desean - Tavon would be incredible to watch. Unfortunately I don't think they're really in the position to do something like that this year - their biggest needs are on both lines and the secondary, where this draft has strong prospects into the 2nd and 3rd. Don't think packaging picks together that should be used on those positions to move up for a luxury pick would be a smart idea.
