QuoteUpdate: The Farmington Independent has much more on the story, including a Facebook posting made by Krause after the game.

"They played this sophomore goalie for the starter, he was terrible, I would try and talk to the coaches about this and tell them I want playing time but they never really listen to me or gave me a chance to show them that I'm a better goalie but still wouldn't trust me so I had it it with I asked a few of my players if they care if I did it and they didn't care they thought it would be funny so at the third period they dumped it in I stopped it put in my net started to skate off then flicked the coaches not the team the coaches then I saluted them then got off."

He added: "My hockey season is over. I did it for myself. (Like my status) if you think the coaches should quit:)"

Erik Karlsson had his Achilles sliced last night.

i didn't see it, but some people said it looked like it happened on purpose
I'm the Anti-Christ. You got me in a vendetta kind of mood.

Seabiscuit36

It was Matt Cooke, who's obviously rehabilitated.

Not sure if I've heard about a plan like this before, but hey it's Phoenix and they can't fill the lower level of their arena @ $75/ticket.  They announced a "GOALden ticket" deal for the final 10 home games of this season where for $100, you get a 5-goal bank and get to see as many games with that ticket until the Coyotes give up 5 goals total, or for $250 you get a 25-goal bank until the team gives up 25 goals total (and you can't buy these tickets after March 9, the first of the 10-game stretch).  So if the Coyotes lose 5-1 on the first night you go, you just paid $100 for a $75 ticket, but if they only give up a couple goals, you get to come back to the next game for "free" (so you've spent $50/game), and if they still haven't given up 5 goals combined, you get a 3rd game for "free" ($33.33/game), and so on, up to the finale, and if there's a shutout during this stretch, you get a free (extra) ticket to the last game.

Stars, Kings, Canucks, Red Wings, Kings, Red Wings, Avalanche, Sharks, Sharks, Avalanche

So the $100 ticket gets you maybe 3 games max, but for $250 you could probably get at least 7 games, maybe all of them if Smith goes on another run like last year...

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.
