Free agency opens up in a month. Who do you want? Which players will they target to fit the new scheme?

Are the Eagles going to a 3-4?  If yes..
Aubrayo Franklin
Mike DeVito
Anthony Spencer

What about about Dashon Goldson at Safety?  I wouldn't mind that at all.

QB Eagles

Brandon Moore - old but has more years left in the league than Danny Watkins
Aqib Talib - Bye DRC. Overpaid guy can be replaced with guy who will be underpaid due to his sociopathy.
Anthony Spencer - It's not my money. Assuming the Eagles don't pay the king's ransom, pretty much any NFL caliber LB would be welcome.

Biggest need is safety but I don't expect any safeties worth a damn to actually become available. Quintin's on his way... back.

Doubt Clady will be there but it's a good year to pick up a OT. There are like 12 guys between the ages of 26-28 who could hit the market and can actually play the position.

i thought about golston but hes a little old for me....by the time the eagles are ready to contend he will be into his 30's

Hard to imagine the Niners letting him test the market. Three potential outcomes for him, in order of probability: 1) tagged again, for relatively cheap too, 2) deal with Niners, 3) vastly overpaid by a team that is not the Eagles.

eagles need to be careful with their secondary...its in such dire straits that they cannot think they can or even should overhaul it all in one offseason...they need to build it piece meal over the next couple years not go all out and overspend or force moves

yep yep

I'd be a little bit surprised to see them spend big for it though, seeing how they just got burned by a couple supposed can't-miss corners. They can't invest half the team's money in one failed superstar CB after another. It is Howie, though.

my fear is more this year than any...howies first full year in total control...i can see napolean coming out and him trying to go scorched earth on the free agency and trade markets to prove something

You HAVE to do some of this during the draft but the immediate needs are 3-4 personnel, o-line depth, DRC replacement, anyone who can play safety. Nice to have a better-than-Trent-Edwards QB to back up Foles in case he flames out bad. If Howie wants to spend big, let him spread it around that big shopping list. First year of rebuild, first year coaching staff, you hope for 6-7 wins as the holes in the roster get slowly plugged up with guys who will still be here when (if) the team gets good again in a few years.

Oh yeah and resign Dorenbos.

PhillyPhreak54

I would like Sean Smith from Miami...big physical corner.

Goldson or Byrd would be nice as well.

BigEd76

Smith wants $8M-$10M/yr.  No f'in way

Gimme William Moore and Jairus Byrd

DRC replacement

Remember when DRC made the pro bowl? His DC was Billy Davis. My bet is they re-sign him. The real question is what kind of an overhaul are we going to see.
