Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

Belichick refused to talk to the reporters during the postgame and sent a player out to represent him

He was too busy with his usual post-loss ritual.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

These are the types of things Asante does to cause teams to be totally cool with giving up his on-field skill. What a fleshpopbag.

Diomedes

Is he going to the Super Bowl?

Only as a patron.

I was indifferent about the outcome of that game right up until I saw that farging bullshtein.  After that I was 1000% Niners.  And evidently so were the football gods, because farg you, Asante.

Diomedes

After his performance last night, and in consideration of his general performance of late, might be that Akers won't be there as part of a team either.

I don't know, man.  Do you really (forgive me) boot a guy off the team two weeks before the Super Bowl like that?  Akers has been awful this year but other than the missed field goal, he did his job last night.  He made all the extra points and his kickoffs were deep and mostly unplayable for the Falcons.   I like the guy and I would certainly understand Harbaugh doing what he has to do in this situation, but damn... he's been there for a while now and I just think it would be coldblooded as hell to do that to someone.
