Here's what I would like to know about the debate:  Did Romney's crew coach him up to deliberately abuse Lehrer?  I think they saw an opportunity for Mitt to bully the overly-polite and fearful-to-offend PBS figurehead and take command of the entire show from the start.

Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

So when Obama loses on November 6, will you still be posting that it's no contest and that debates don't matter?

Far and away the best part about Romney dominating the debate last night is that now the GOP base who eat up his lies hook line and sinker think he's actually going to win because of it. Priceless.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

It's a real shame that lying with conviction means you've won a debate.

Yay, expectations of guys running for president

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

I thought he was going to win the presidency before the debate.   The polls are oversampling Democrats in historic proportions.  Some of the polls had Obama winning Ohio by 10, when he only won it by 5 in 08.

Keep harping on "lies" when Obama has nothing to run on... failed economic policies... failed foreign policies... failed presidency....

Can't really bitch about Mitt, when your guy lied about Libya, lied about Fast N Furious, tried to hush up defense firms issuing pink slips, all in the last 2 weeks.

Hawk

The meltdown on MSNBC last night was incredible.. can't wait for election night.

Hawk

Blame the altitude.... or the moderator... or Bush... gotta blame somebody... or something.

Munson

If you could actually point out those economic policies that failed and state why they failed, people might actually engage you in conversation.

You're right the economy is flourishing...

The certainty of Obama winning reelection is hilarious... he just got destroyed last night.... and that's not the general consensus, right, left, and indepedent.  The polls before the election was sampling Democrats at levels greater than the historic 08 turnout.

Delusional.

Can't wait for Obama to get hammered on his foreign policy. Can't wait for him to brag about Osama Bin Laden, and then get hit hard on Libya.

Hawk

And the debate winners have almost always benefited from bumps in the polls...

This election will be decided by the independents/undecideds.... there's no way after last night, that any of them moved towards to Obama.
