$$$ + Nike connection + TV games

They recruit Houston and this area pretty hard and I have heard a few stories about them paying cashish to the families. There were a few articles written about it and one of the "advisors"...wish I could find the link.

MDS

you come to the triangle, you come out with treasure

why do you think the SEC wanted a&m so bad. you can traverse up and down the south lookin for kids or you can situate yourself in one 5 hour radius and watch the best hs football known to man. pick.
Zero hour, Michael. It's the end of the line. I'm the firstborn. I'm sick of playing second fiddle. I'm always third in line for everything. I'm tired of finishing fourth. Being the fifth wheel. There are six things I'm mad about, and I'm taking over.

pretty sure oregon is not the only school in the country that does this....the entire sec...and half of every other conference does it

but thats not even what im talking about...check out hs players FROM oregon....there are way more than youd ever think should come from a granola eating birkenstock rocking west coastal state

again....you dont get what im saying...track doesnt make athletes...people compete in track because they are athletes

and oregon is the last place in the country youd expect to produce these kinds of players

track actually does produce athletes...believe me on that. you might be getting tons of people moving there because of the nike bs and all the facilities they have. maybe thats it.

or maybe oregons success over the last 10 years has turned oregon hs football into a big thing and more and more kids are playing. or maybe you should leggo of your stereotypes about places?

I know all programs pay but I think the recruiters for Oregon have that Nike money to toss around...Uncle Phil be lining their pockets with money to share.

As for the athletes that come from the PAC NW? No clue...but the track factor is something to consider. The Ducks have a solid program and it seems they keep the talent in the area. I wonder how many out of area schools pilfer talent from up there? The kids stay close to home and play for the big program - the only one worth a shtein up there.

thats what im saying

its not like when ohio state was paying floridians to come to columbus...a lot of oregons talent is actually from oregon...which isnt exactly a high school football mecca
