In a blind taste test, almost no one could tell the difference between Blue Moon and Shock Top.

I can tell the difference and I think Shock Top is better. Cheaper too.

Edit: The Belgian style is what I'm referring to, of course. farg Oktoberfest horseshtein.
Is rjs gonna have to choke a bitch?

Let them eat bootstraps.

I don't like flavored beer, in general. I like my beer to taste like, well, beer. I do like darker beers, though, and some of the fall stuff falls under that category. Sam is a good staple, in general. I do like Dogfish Head quite a bit, including their IPA...but not all the time. Their Raison d'etra is pretty badass, though.

Sam Adam's Octoberfest is the best.  I can't stand hbionic's tranny IPA's or some hipster PBR crap.  I'm interested if Yuengling's Octoberfest is decent since it would save some $ over Sam Adam's.  I'm already a fan of their black and tan in addition to their porter.

For being cheap, Yuengling is very drinkable, pretty much across their varieties. I picked up a case a couple of weeks ago for $10, which was silly.

Full disclosure, though-- I'm a big beer fan, but I don't drink much of it these days. I had a bunch the other day, but it was the first I've had one in weeks. My tastebuds love the stuff, but my body does better without it.

They both suck, so its tough to distinguish.

I lurve IPA's.  But it depends on the brewer.  Stone always has winners.  Just had Black Diamond Brewing's Jagged Edge this weekend.  Nothing special, but worth the try.  Nothing beats a Stone Ruination.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it in the beer or app threads, but there's a RateBeer app on android that's a nice resource to use when shopping for a good beer. Probably on iOS, too.

Rome

Get it in the mini-keg, Sunny.  Awesome for tailgates.  An added benefit is if anyone tries to take any from it you can smash 'em in the face with it.

SunMo

they make the light in the mini keg?

Sunny, have you tried Moosehead Light Lime?  A buddy of mine swears they are the best lime drinks around.  I have to remind him that he's a hoyda who loves lime drinks.
