lol at vernors...im suprised they sell that in houston....i thought that was a michigan thang...either way that and vodka is gross and is something id drink at four in the morning when i was out of pretty much every other possible combination

I cant imagine drinking vodka and milk without throwing up. I know white russians are a drink but  straight vodka and milk sounds disgusting. Better to just have vodka and vodka. Or vodka and water. Or water and water.

when i said that i was literally trying to think of the worst combination of anything...and vodka milk is what came to mind...i thought this was a good call until deez came in and acted like i was crazy for talkin shtein about vodka milk

In the years I lived in NYC, I became accustomed to "buy-backs" from my regular pubs.  Every third or fourth or fifth drink, depending on the bar/bartender/crowd at the time, I'd get a round on the house.  There were no strict rules for this, and I only got them in bars I patronized regularly, but the courtesy could be counted on.

Is this practice unique to NYC?  I haven't had a single bartender give me a drink on the house in Baltimore.  What gives?

Wasn't there a long winded, douchey article or blog posted on this very subject?  Probably in the last year or 2.

No I was calling you crazy for talking shtein about Vodka and Ginger, so you pulled out Method Man's recipe for worst drink ever.
But vodka and ginger beer is very good, it's called a Moscow Mule, and may have popularized Vodka in the US in the first place.

I actually did a little skimming through this thread when I posted about it, but I have no clue when it was actually posted, or if it was even posted in this thread. Very well could have been posted in the random musings thread and I'm not about to try finding it in there.

Just take my word on it when I say that the author of the article in question was worse than atv, stalker, and none dumber combined.
