So...how long before we will be hearing the term..."starting quarterback Nick Foles..."?

Could be after week two when they play the Ravens. The O-line is downright awful without Peters. What a disgrace Bell turned out to be, I watched the final preseason game last night and he was getting beat by 2nd and 3rd teamers.

What's a bigger problem heading into the season, the safety spot or the O-line? Both are really weak depth wise. I actually think Nate Allen will have a solid year but Coleman should be a backup.

I think when you have 10 mil or more invested in a qb who, it seems, could get hurt eating a bowl of soup, it's the o-line. I agree with you about the Ravens game. T-sizzle being hurt could mean the difference between injury or death for Vick.

Rosters are so big and shelf life isn't long so having the youngest team doesn't mean much.

Don Ho

Bishop Gorman High School from Las Vegas was here in Hawaii to play one of our top teams.  They are the #8 team in the country.  Their backup QB is Randall Cunningham's son Randall, Jr.  Frightening.  Looks like his old man.  6'4 180 junior.  Bishop Gorman destroyed the Hawaii team 52 - 40 (couple late tds against backups).

charles scott
jamar chaney - zzzzz but at least hes on the roster
jeffery owens - JO
kurt coleman - classic eagle late rounder who people will identify as a good pick because he starts even tho he shouldnt

Thats pretty awful. A bunch of cuts and a few backups. Not one player who should be a starter in the league, let alone a star.

yeah its as bad as it gets

at least 11 was an improvement and on paper 12 has the potential to be really good/great

I still think Allen turns out to be a good player, this will be the telltale year. The rest of that draft is god awful.

Diomedes

I'm not holding my breath on Allen.  If he were a taterskin I'd be pointing and laughing at them, so it's only fair to consider him a disappointment.

Munson

Allen was looking good til he tore his leg up. Now that he's 2 years from the injury he should hopefully be better.

perhaps you could explain sd's reasons for "disliking" it as well since you seem to be so in tune with other peoples minds

Team by team cap space.
Eagles, #3 with $20.2 Mill.
I think they got rid of that loophole where you can roll it forward into the next year with fake bonuses, so I don't know what they are going to do with it. Pay off some divorce lawyers I guess.
